Chris Cabrera (he/they) is a trailblazer in the LGBTQ+ hospitality sector, distinguished as the inaugural National LGBTQ+ Ambassador for Bacardi in North America. With a steadfast commitment to fostering inclusivity within the cocktail industry, Chris has established a prominent presence dedicated to promoting a culture of acceptance. He served as a global leader for Belonging at Bacardi, a groundbreaking initiative striving to cultivate equitable and diverse environments that mirror the company’s extensive portfolio, Chris is dedicated to enhancing education and advancing safety standards within the Spirits and Bar industry.

His remarkable achievements highlight his dedication to excellence, including receiving the prestigious 2022 Holistic Hospitality Award from Liquor.com and being recognized as an honoree at the Gay City Impact Awards. Further, Chris was bestowed with the esteemed Visionary Award at Tales of the Cocktail’s Spirited Awards in 2021 and achieved top rankings as a finalist for the Spirited Awards US Ambassador of the Year in both 2022 and 2023. Continuously lauded for his contributions, he has been consistently featured in the top 50 of the Drinks International Bar World 100 for three consecutive years (2020, 2021, and 2022).
